Market & Employment
Research
Companies in Bermuda were once in the enviable position
of being competitive and profitable while conducting
little research. That era is gone forever. Because
we live in a global community, leaders today are
information-driven. This quest for accurate information,
needed to make the right decisions, has fuelled the
drive for suppliers of information – and the marketplace
has responded. In just a decade, Bermuda has gone from
no listed market research companies to at least five
today.
Profiles of Bermuda is one of them. Our experience
in research spans more than ten years. Some of our
recent projects include conducting a customer service
survey for a utility organisation. We also conducted
Waves 1 and 2 of the Consumer Satisfaction & Knowledge
Survey, the first of its kind for Bermuda. This study
looked at shoppers' attitudes and satisfaction levels
with the Bermuda shopping experience. We also conducted
the first major profile of Bermuda's prison population.
The aim of this study was to get a better understanding
of inmates to assist them more effectively when released
back into civilian life.
On the employment side, we maintain a database, going
back to 1978, of all jobs as listed in the annual Employment
Survey. Using this database, we can forecast job trends
of the future. Profiles' Managing Director did the
first 10-year economic activity forecast for the Bermuda
Government in 1998, and updated that forecast, along
with selected job forecasts, in 2004 for the National
Training Board.
Whatever your research needs, contact
us and let our skills,
knowledge and experience assist you in the decision-making
process.
